$5 Gas by Mid-Summer?

Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan are predicting $135/bbl oil and $5/gal gas this summer. Both of these rats are in a position to blow up oil prices with borrowed Bernanke bucks. Maybe they're getting ready to earn some cash before they crash the economy again like 2008. Bastards.

Ignorant Spectator on Memorial Day

Memorial Day was commemorated originally to honor Civil War soldiers who died for their beliefs. Later it was expanded to honor all those who died in service of their country. Now it is just another federal holiday that provides a three day weekend that mostly exalts consumer spending, drunkenness and BBQs.

Personal belief and service of country. Are they the same or different? In some cases they are the same, but not always. Some take up arms for their beliefs, some to defend their people, some due to conscription, some out of peer pressure, some out of sense of duty to country, others for money, adventure or fame. All soldiers are not the same, the only common element is a willingness to die by taking up arms for a cause.

Government tries to hijack the holiday to display solidarity of the entire population under their flag. I've always been troubled by this ploy. The holiday belongs to those who died for their individual beliefs, not elites who use the government for personal gain and power. The dead do not belong to the state.

The flag has lost all meaning to me recently. It's meaning is gone. There was a time when it stood for the rights and freedoms of individual citizens who lived under the Bill of Rights and Constitution. Now it stands for the power of an elite global dictatorship that gropes, breaks into homes, kills those who resist, confiscates personal property and tells everyone what to do in infinite detail. Exactly who is a citizen in this country anymore? What is a citizen? The US flag seems a museum piece representing a people with rights under God that were, but now are gone.

My beliefs do not coincide nor embrace a country the shoots an unarmed, captured combatant in the head. I think most soldiers through the ages would agree. It is dishonorable. I'd like to believe that the Memorial Day dead would agree with me. Yes Osama's actions were despicable. But so were Obama's orders. It diminished this country, it's flag, it's warriors and it's people. How a civilization treats it's weakest, such as an unarmed, captured combatant, defines that civilization.

I would expect Mongols, Mayans, Comanches, Imperial Japs, Nazis and Al Qaeda to slaughter captives and celebrate. Not Americans. Navy SEALS were obligated to follow orders. But following those orders dishonored them and this country. It saddens me.

So I will remember and honor those who died in combat for their individual beliefs this Memorial Day irregardless of their cause or nation. No flag is necessary and may even insult. Confederate or Yankee, American or other, all who died in combat for a belief deserve remembrance. Only God can know and judge their beliefs. I am but an ignorant spectator in His Passion Play.

Five Dollars More a Day for Gasoline in 2011

The average american family is spending $369 per month on gasoline. That's a 46% increase from April 2009.

I analyzed our family gasoline costs yesterday and found that we are spending $157 or 38% more this May than last. Our Y/Y monthly gasoline costs rose from $252 to $409 this month with no change in driving habits. Using the article's methodology, we spend a higher percentage of our pre-tax income on gasoline than the average american family. I'm not surprised, considering that I commute 88 miles per day to work, where the average Jose probably has a shorter commute distance.

The annualized additional $1884 that I spend on gasoline comes right out of discretionary spending. That's $36 per week that I won't spend in the consumer economy that america counts on for jobs and GDP. A $5.14 per day tax imposed by a federal government that won't drill for oil in the midst of a Depression as it prints dollars to loan to billionaires to drive up the price of oil.

Sarah Is Tough

Sarah could stomp Hopey Changey and all the GOP candidates ass at the same time! She wouldn't have ordered SEALS to assassinate Osama. She would have punched him in the nose then tried him in a court. The list goes on and on. Sarah is the real deal and she is tough.

The GOP is DemoMarxists light, bought and sold by the global elites. Romney and Rudy are RINOs. Can Sarah win? Hell if I know. It all depends how many americans haven't been bought into slavery for their government handouts.

Government of Gangsters

I received a letter from the state department of revenue yesterday advising that my Energy Star tax credit couldn't be honored because the state fund was exhausted in February. A second letter from department of revenue advised that my tax return was in error, because of the denied Energy Star credit of $100, therefore I was fined a $62.40 penalty and $3.23 in interest penalties. I was ordered to remit $165 immediately or endure additional fines and interest which would begin immediately.

This correspondence had a heavy-handed tone and seemed excessive. My Turbo Tax return followed legal guidance by submitting the Energy Star tax credit. There was no "error" on my part, the state had merely run out of funds for a legal credit that the state and federal government had enacted to stimulate the economy and mitigate energy needs. I shouldn't be penalized for an "error" of following government law and guidance.

And what a penalty. 65% of $100 as penalty and interest! Loan sharks would be envious.

I called the state department of revenue and was lucky enough to talk to Shelly. She was sympathetic because her mother had gotten the same letters earlier that day. Mom had called Shelly and had angrily asked WTF? Shelly told me to write a protest letter describing my lack of error and just send $100. She thought the state would do the right thing, that this was just a computer programming error.

I wrote the letter, wrote the check and dropped them in the mail today. Shelly said I should know something in 6 to 8 weeks. We'll see.

This event had the feel of gangsters coming to my house and shaking me down with threats. Yeah Lugh, we told you to go buy a furnace and we'd pay $100 of the bill. We lied chump. Now pay us...or else. Oh, and give us an extra $65 for having to come here and threaten you.

Of the people, by the people and for the people? Right.

We are all Jose Guerena now

This video shows how warrants will be executed in Norte Mexico going forward. The SWAT team doesn't seem worried or concerned about executing this warrant. They act like a nonchalant pest extermination team preparing to wipe out a wasp nest. Like they've done a thousand times before. Just blow the door open, subdue the pests inside or kill anything that doesn't absolutely submit, be it animal or human. The raid is all about their safety with absolutely no regard for their prey.

The first 8 shots, fired by the psychocop at the door, probably mortally wounded Jose. Then the other four cops wanted some of the action and opened fire as well. All together, 71 shots were fired through the doorway, down the hall at Jose in 8 seconds. 60 shots found him, most probably as he fell and laid on the floor. None of the weapons were fired in automatic mode so triggers were pulled 71 times. The first cop to shoot dropped to the ground probably terrified that the SWAT team was going to shoot him in the frenzy. This was wanton blood lust typical of undisciplined gangbangers not trained paramilitary forces.


Pima county, state and federal government officials just yawn about this murder and will cover it up. The MSM yawns and says it's not worth reporting. Just another dead spic. There are 10 million more where Jose came from. Most americans say Jose shouldn't have had a gun. He deserved to get blown apart in his own home since he owned and held a gun.

When Pima County SWAT saw Jose with a weapon they could have withdrawn and negotiated the situation such that no one died. But those days are over in North Mexico. The governments will tolerate no challenge to their absolute authority over your body, what you eat, what you think, your children, and least of all, over your home. Resist and you will be killed on the spot.

The Constitution is dead. We are all Jose Guerena now.

KGUN9 is reporting that Jose was shot 22 times after pointing a weapon at peace officers who sounded sirens and announced themselves in both English and Spanish. Police insist Jose was a criminal because they found weapons and body armor. So if the police say you are a criminal, bust into your house and kill you, then find weapons, well, they are justified in killing you. Courts are just an unnecessary formality. God have mercy on the children

It's not healthy to work for a bankrupt company that's winding down operations, moving work overseas and downsizing. It will make you sick even before you lose your job. So I was pretty happy to go to work for a CleanTech company that was growing, partnering with international heavyweights and had government support. Now they're in trouble and it feels like 2008 all over again. And I feel sick again.

My fellow workers are putting feelers out in the marketplace. Some have already got interviews scheduled. I'm happy for them and hope it works out for these young fellas. But I'm finding that there isn't any interest in guys over 60 like myself. A couple of companies initially showed interest until they looked over my resume, which suggests my age. Others are finding the same age discrimination in the marketplace.

All this talk about people working later in their life is bullshit. Few want 60 year old veterans with experience in the workplace. Who could possibly want 70 year olds?

I'm going to ride this company into the dirt then hopefully just retire. This Depression and the humiliation of asking for work in this youth-centric society is just too much to handle. 21st century american society is built upon lies. God have mercy on the children.

Cry Wolf

The NWS and EAS are fucking imbeciles. Storms moving through the state are potentially dangerous making tornado watches prudent. But the idiots running NWS and EAS issue tornado warnings even though no tornadoes have been observed up to a half hour before the storm is to arrive. The local imbeciles are even worse, sounding sirens at 2230 hours when the storm front is 30 minutes away.

After repeated false alarms for the past 8 hours people start to believe that officials are crying wolf. They go to bed and ignore all the warnings. This could cause excessive casualties when the real thing comes along.

Pima County Los Zetas SWAT Team

The Pima County SWAT team seems to have gone Los Zetas on a local resident last week when executing some "neighborhood warrants". They broke into a home without announcing themselves and shot a man to death when he armed himself. After shooting him 60 times they denied him medical treatment for over an hour, effectively sentencing him to death.

Jose Guerena never pointed his weapon or fired a shot at these SWAT gangsters but one of two things is true in this story. Either these "trained professionals" wanted to murder him or they were terrified pussies. In either case they have brought great shame on themselves and their profession.

This country is quickly turning into Mexico. There are no Constitutional rights, people are assumed guilty until proven innocent and human life has no value. TSA, Navy SEALS, Pima Regional SWAT, Las Vegas police all ignore human rights and treat everyone like Osama bin Laden. Shoot first, tell everyone to shut up later. Sheriff Clarence Dupnik is acting like a NAZI thug suppressing the truth of this event.

If cops think this kind of behavior is going to work for them they better think again. People might just drive on by if they see a cop getting beat to death on the side of the road by some thug some dark night. Eh, just a couple of thugs settling a thug issue.

Prep for Forever: Part 2

Wife and I met with our financial planner today. Between my pensions, social security and investments he thinks I can safely retire at 66. He conservatively figured on 3% annual inflation going forward, a 3% tax increase in the future and a 10% annual return on investment for the next 5 years, then a 6% annual ROI thereafter. I could retire at 62 but working until 66 seals the deal for a solid retirement.

The advisor said that we're in much better shape than most americans because we aren't carrying the debt load of most people at our age. The big house, new cars and credit card debt keeps folks from saving. Life expectancy is 85 at this time, and calculating sufficient income through 95 is standard anymore. So it's important to save such that you can get by until age 95. That's a lot of savings.

So I'm happy. My wife will be in good shape once I've gone. Now I just need to live to enjoy some retirement and hope that the world doesn't go batshit crazy, spoiling our plans.

GM Celebrates Founding of Chinese Communist Party

GM recognizes that China is it's biggest current and future market so the company will do things to build good will. However financing a movie that celebrates the 90th anniversary of the murderous, totalitarian Chinese Communist Party is over the top. On top of that, US taxpayers still own 33% or $43B of GM. I object as a taxpaying shareholder to the use of company funds to celebrate the founding of the Chinese Communist Party!

100W Incandescent Bulbs Banned January 1st

Better stock up on 100W incandescent bulbs as the US Politburo has banned them come January 1st. You can buy a 100W LED bulb for $100 (that is, if you kulaks really need light). So...one inflated US dollar per one LED watt?

I use 8 150W bulbs in my shop, usually not all at once, but occasionally, yes. I need lots of light so my old eyes can see what I'm doing. LEDs would cost ....  $1200 compared to the $32 that I spend today. That's a 3750% increase! Do these millionaire government idiots actually think that we're going to save 3750% on electricity using non-incandescent bulbs? The government has basically told me that they don't care if I can see to fix things.

$1200 for 150W bulbs? That's more than I've spent in the 34 years that I've been working in my shop.

I've tried the fluorescent and compact fluorescent bulbs. Beside the sickly color, they just don't pump out enough lumens to see stuff. I have been experimenting with LED lamps but haven't had particularly good luck. Of the four under counter units that I installed a couple years ago, two died in a year. A lamp that I fitted with a 60W LED puck barely puts out enough light to even read. Nothing beats incandescent!

I could buy night vision goggles for less than one year's worth of LED bulbs. Maybe I could keep from falling in my old age.

In January 2014 all incandescent bulbs will be banned. What the hell are people going to do? Live like Dark Age peasants with one light in their house? Move it around like a goddamned candlestick? Budget to buy one fucking light bulb?

Now I'm going to have to purchase and store a bunch of light bulbs so I can function. All because of a bunch of goddamned unicorn loving, carbon life form hating DemoMarxists.This government is all about making americans miserable, whether ruining their economy, groping them at airports or making them sit in the dark.

Fukushima Hell Part 19

TEPCO reported today that they have discovered that Fukushima reactor 1 lost all of it's coolant water hours after the tsunami, exposing the rods which melted at 2800 degrees and sank to the bottom of the reactor vessel. Reactors 2 and 3 probably had similar failures which may have burned small holes into the bottom of the vessels.

This would explain why the vessels can't be kept full of coolant water and why radioactive water is leaking into the dry well under the complex and into the Pacific.

Parts of Japan will be uninhabitable for centuries AND the myth of Godzilla may yet come true. Poor bastards.

Long ago, before the US economy collapsed, was overrun by Mestizos and became North Mexico, it had a sophisticated space program, like Russia and China have today. The Americans actually helped Russia build the Russian Space Station before their collapse.

Tony Pallota believes that the economy will contract in the second quarter. First quarter data showed that consumers were still spending despite food and fuel increases and flat wages, investments were still making progress but export trade was down as import trade was up. Government spending contributions were slowing down GDP growth

Banks weren't lending so the government was the bank. As the government spending slows, so does the economy. Tony says that if the government further cuts spending, "the level of contraction will be unprecedented".

The Journey Not the Destination

Garden tilled, radishes, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers and asparagus all planted before the rain came Saturday. The dirt tilled well despite the soggy Spring. Most farmers haven't plowed fields yet. I'm lucky.

Our 25 year old asparagus patch finally wore out this year. No sprouts at all. Sad. But new plants are in the ground! We'll be eating a few next year and more in two years.

This week is forecast to be wet and cold. Low temperatures in the upper 30s. Onions, cauliflower and green beans will have to wait a week or so to get in the ground. But I have a good start.

I was happy to see Grandma out planting her flowers and enjoying some time in the dirt this year. She even planted some tomatoes this year. First time in a while.

I'm handling the garden work pretty well for an old guy. Not too tired or sore. My clogs didn't slow me down at all. I just take my time and enjoy the tasks. It's all about the working in the dirt anyway, the journey not the destination.

Modern Fourth Amendment in a Police State

The Indiana Supreme Court doesn't give a goddamn about the US Constitution. They ruled that the police can enter your home without a warrant and you can't even try to stop them. Justice Steven David said:

"We believe ... a right to resist an unlawful police entry into a home is against public policy and is incompatible with modern Fourth Amendment jurisprudence," David said. "We also find that allowing resistance unnecessarily escalates the level of violence and therefore the risk of injuries to all parties involved without preventing the arrest."

Modern jurisprudence? What about 12th century English Magna Carta or 18th century US Constitution? Nine centuries of legal precedent just brushed aside by three government stooges? Public policy? What about individual rights? There's a reason that government thugs need to be afraid of busting into a man's castle. It keeps them just a little more honest.

The US is becoming a police state more and more each day. Hopefully the ACLU will have this ruling overturned. Sullivan, Shepard and David need to be shown the door in the next election.

The head of the IMF decided to give a maid in NYC the same treatment he gives everyone else in the world. He grabbed her and force-fucked her in the mouth. Prep for Forever

Last week I started my journey into future retirement and eventual eternity. I contacted my three pension holders to confirm benefits and explore surviving spouse options. Next week the wife and I will sit down with our financial planner to finalize our retirement.

The wife should be Ok once I've gone to Gwynvyd. I've done my duty. She should be able to live out her years in the lower middle class style of North Mexico.Unless the economy collapses, in which case, everyone is dead, sooner or later.

Preparing for my wife's future is the most important thing that I have left to do in this world. I take this responsibility very seriously. Everything else is trivial. My deathbed sense of success or failure in this life will be solely based on how I've left my life partner financially.

Mid May Wrapup

Blogspot is back after a three day maintenance activity that was supposed to take an hour.

The dollar was up because of chaos around the Eurozone, where PIGS were back in the sovereign default spotlight with Greeks rioting and the ECB inertia. Commodity prices fell, driving equities down while earnings, US GDP and US inflation data all suggested an economic slowdown looming despite government and media cheerleading.

Inflation data will guide the economy the rest of the year despite the denial by the experts. US GDP will drift down as consumers struggle to buy food and fuel without raises. At 8% inflation the GDP will be around 1.8%. QE2 has screwed the consumer pooch going forward in this Depression.

The government will hit the debt ceiling on Monday and the political rhetoric will turn to shrieks and howls next week. The first shots were fired Friday when it was reported that Medicare will go broke in 2024 followed by social security in 2036. Either benefits get cut by 24% or taxes get increased by 17%. Or have Obama led Navy SEAL teams shoot americans in the head on retirement. That would solve the problem.

SEALS are whining about being used by the government and media after assassinating Osama. What? These hit men thought their country would appreciate their wet work? No. They will be used then abused like Lindsay Lohan by the juvenile american society led by Obama bin Osama. What goes around, comes around. Al Qaeda will be visiting their families with some payback.

My gas mileage sucks and I'll be lucky to even survive the next couple of years of back road travel.

What Can I Say?

Recent polls say more than 50% of americans think Obama should be re-elected. They think his economic programs have been great, the country is moving in the right direction and life is good. What can I say?

38th

My 38th garden is underway. I planted strawberries to replace those that didn't make it through the winter on Monday evening. It felt good to have my hands in the soil again. Yesterday I raked the drying leaves out of the garden again. It's almost all dirt showing and with the sunshine and dry weather the garden might be ready to till in a few days. I hoed the raised bed and prepped the pots for planting. The soil was good in both and I'll be planting these this week.

The blog is all mine now as outsiders have quit it. Maybe my views are just to twisted or boring. Maybe the world just wants Tweets these days. I dunno. But this thing is all mine now.

The guvmint hit's the ceiling on Monday. But that means as much as law anymore. In other words, nothing. The pretended extend will go on.

Winter's Inertia Gone

Winter's inertia is gone. Fallen limbs burned, the last of the leaves in compost, the garden raked and the yard put in Order this weekend. We're ready for Spring planting and time outdoors. The family will spend more time outdoors now until Winter comes again. About five months of a Different lifestyle than our Winter lives.

Life and the Normal Distribution Curve

The chart of a typical life looks like this to an engineer. A normal distribution curve. It's part of God's plan.

Life begins on the left, a weak, undeveloped child who grows physically and intellectually until peaking at about age 39. Then life declines to the right both physically and intellectually until death at about 80. Some shorter, some longer.

Children until 13 we grow into adulthood by 26 and then peak at 39. We slowly decline to 52 then more rapidly until 66. From 66 to death we ease back into childhood and finally infancy.

Our work lives have a similar pattern of growth, peak and decline in interest in work. My 47 year work life included introduction (childhood), education (young adulthood), rise to peak, mild decline, rapid decline and finally no interest until retirement. With less than five years to work I'm into the last curve segment and easing out of the workforce at age 66.

To know and understand where we are in our cycles of life is power.

Mother's Day

I have no living mother on this Mother's Day to thank for her life-long unconditional love. So I send this message to the Heavens.

Thank you for loving me, listening to me, encouraging me and putting up with my continual bullshit for 59 years.

There is only one human being in this life who might love us always, no matter what we do. And that person is our mother. Everyone else loves us conditionally. Once our mother is gone we are alone in this world.

Obama/Osama Wrap-up

By modern North American standards, longitude 30 to 48 degrees north, I must be an oddity because of my first and lasting reaction to the assassination of Osama bin Laden.

When my daughter burst into our bedroom last Sunday evening and shouted "They got bin Laden. He's dead.", my first thought was Ok. I was in bed and had to get up at 0430 hours so I stayed in bed and went to sleep. I didn't see any need to stay up to get more information. It could wait until morning, a few hours away.

After reading about the event in the morning I discovered that I wasn't in a celebratory mood, merely pleased that an enemy leader who routinely murdered civilians was unable to continue his misdeeds. The death of bin Laden really changed nothing. Islamists would still murder to install the global caliphate, with or without their sheik.

The celebrations that I read, saw and heard seemed awkward and immature. They seemed un-american and wrong. The garbled story of bin Laden's demise seemed odd then very wrong once it was revealed that he was assassinated unarmed and without a fight on presidential orders. Surely this was a cover story for a stealthy capture and detention by US intelligence services.

By Thursday's celebrations at Ground Zero and at Fort Campbell, I felt completely at odds with americans. Lame Cherry said it best:

I take no pride nor do I celebrate the US shooting an unarmed Osama bin Laden in front of his wives and children. Sniping him on a street, Predator attack on a mountain side or killing him in a firefight is one thing. Shooting him in front of his family while unarmed is another. It shames americans.

And to what end? Does this end the war? Do Islamists lay down their arms and join humanity? Will the world have peace? No. Instead we will have generations of revenge, more war and more assassinations. Why was bin Laden assassinated in this manner? So americans could know justice was achieved? Or so Obama could score points for his re-election? Unfortunately I believe the later is the case.

As LC stated, Obama is using Osama's corpse as a campaign trophy. It is disgusting...and wrong. But more importantly, the people of 18 degrees longitude in North America don't care what was done or why. That's sad.

Spring Arrives at the Bruig

It's finally starting to feel like Spring here at the Bruig. It's been a cold and very wet one so far. This coming week we should see some more typical temperatures although there's more rain forecast. Temperature got up in the upper 60s today with clouds, sun and sprinkles off and on.

There's been no plowing or planting activities by local farmers as the ground is far too wet. Yields will be down this year, if they ever get to plow and plant. I haven't even cleared mulch leaves from the garden yet. Not much reason to do it until the sun can start to dry the topsoil.

I mowed the yard for the first time this year today. We cleared limbs and burned them in honor of Algore. It's become a tradition here at the Bruig.

Wife and I went to the feed stores and picked up vegetables to plant in the garden. Many strawberries didn't make it through the winter so we bought replacements. Our asparagus patch has become unproductive, probably from too much shade, so I bought replacements and intend to start a new patch in the yard. Wife got some flowers for Mother's Day. She always enjoys planting, tending and seeing her pretties.

May 10 is usually the frost free, safe date to plant here in Bruigville. But we'll be late this year due to the wet soil conditions. But we've seen this before, things will work out. They always do.

Obama bin Biden on Jobs

The April NFP jobs numbers were awful. BLS said 244,000 jobs were created but 175,000 were birth/death seasonal adjustments, 62,000 were Ronald McDonald work leaving a whopping 7,000 jobs created nationwide in a month.

In February, Obama bin Biden promised 100,000 new jobs in March and 250,000-500,000 jobs a month thereafter. But no-one is creating jobs, they're creating work because jobs would be full-time affairs that can provide for a place to live, food, transportation and some consumer items. McDonalds work don't count as a job.

The US economy no longer generates full-time jobs that pay living wages, only part-time work that mostly requires food stamps to survive. People that want a job now are at records of 6.48 million.  Labor force participation is at 25 year lows of 64%.

And if you're lucky enough to find a job, you'll make $30,000 a year on average in this Depression economy, which is $14.43 per hour. And that's not entry level, that's 45 year old guys with skills and experience previously making over $60,000 a year. Try putting a roof over the head of a family and food on the table at that pay.

High gasoline and food prices have sucked the wind out of ChairSatan Bernanke's printed QE2 recovery. The elites ran up prices using the printed dollars to engorge their throbbing wealth. Fuck the peons. They can die...or whatever.

Odd Day

What an odd day. ECB Trichet makes a weak speech on Euro rate hikes, the dollar goes up 2% and WTI drops $9 or 8% on "surprisingly high" US unemployment numbers. End of day, the DOW drops 1% on mediocre volume. Pundits say the gas price spike is broken.

Economic weakness, margin calls on commodities and talk of begging the ChairSatan to fire up QE3 this summer. 45 million americans are on food stamps, one in every seven living residents of North Mexico. The average income of those hired after the 2007-8 crash is $30,000. No wonder everything is troubling.

Why No Weapons?

Most journalists are incompetent morons. Media reports state that no weapons were found near bodies in Osama's compound one hour after the raid in photos taken by Pakistani security personnel. Well, dumbasses, don't you think that SEALS would have stripped weapons from downed combatants so they wouldn't grab and fire a weapon if wounded. Wouldn't those weapons get loaded on outbound choppers?

I could honestly, accurately state that no brains were found in journalists reporting this story. These brie eating metrosexuals haven't a clue about warfare and should be routinely ignored by readers.

Osama Assassination That Never Was

The truth is always somewhere in the middle of divergent stories. And people will mostly behave the way people usually behave. So what happened at the Osama Assassination at Abbottabad?

The administration claims that Osama was shot dead and buried at sea. Osama's daughter says he was captured then executed. No tape exists to prove or disprove either story.

Elite US soldiers do not have a history of assassinating, or even shooting, unarmed, illegal combatants. The four man stick of SEALS that entered Osama's room would have been highly trained in room-to-room combat operations. These soldiers would have spent their entire existence training to identify armed and unarmed targets. Their training would have been precise, shoot armed people, don't shoot unarmed people. Ignore, incapacitate or kill as required by the threat. Zero exceptions.

The SEALS shot a woman...in the leg. They incapacitated an unarmed threat. Good so far. Then they encountered Osama. He was unarmed. Their training would require them to incapacitate him. A shot to the leg would meet training standards. A head shot and two center of mass body shots would fail. SEALS are not trained to fail, SEALS don't perform outside of training. It is not possible.

So what happened at the Osama Assassination?

I don't believe that there was an Osama assassination. I believe that he was captured alive and taken into US custody, where he will remain until he dies an old man. The SEALS and others involved will be sworn to secrecy about this entire national security event. It never happened.

Osama's "death" was supposed to get Obama re-elected and bring 911 to closure. It would end the need for US combat operations in Afghanistan and end a war that the US could no longer afford.

That's how I see this theater.

Mangled Matters

I have a bad feeling about how the assassination of Osama is going to turn out. Obama has used the targeted killing of Osama for political purposes. The Islamo-communist's visit to NYC on Thursday will only worsen matters. Nothing good ever comes from bad. This whole matter was bungled badly. A mutilation really.

Zero Trust Culture

The US government seems to be completely out of control, acting like a room full of teenagers over the Osama Assassination. Are there any adults in the Obama administration? Are there US government policies? Or do they just make shit up as they go?

There was a time when there were professionals who could manage a story in this country. Now it's like a teenage girls's Facebook account. Screaming, threats, lies and cuntish behavior. If this is the new level of sophistication in this culture?

We live in a Zero Trust culture.

Osama the Legend

Osama's fortress wasn't. No fixed location is safe and this fact has been known for two millenia. In fact, your fortress becomes a trap that holds you in place to be captured or killed. Maneuverability is survival. Consider Guderian's Blitzkrieg or Schwarzkopf's Desert Storm. Both overwhelmed defensive positions in hours. Osama would have been safer up in those mountains.

But if someone wants to harm you they can. You're not safe anywhere. The advantage always goes to the aggressor, and he who has Will. Hannibal will always eventually lose to a Roman Empire with their machine like legions. The US military was eventually going to find and kill Osama. Fate finally arrived.

Obama waited until it was politically convenient. That's pathetic for both Obama and the assclowns that surround him. Osama, Obama, two sides to the same evil coin afflicting mankind. Both come to the end in their time.

Tis sad how men come to their ends. Great or small, good or evil, all men end up in clothing soiled in piss and shit. They're hauled away like smelly garbage to be disposed of. Most will be remembered for awhile, until those who knew them die. Great men, good or evil, will be remembered longer, some forever. Osama will outlive every man living today, including Obama. Osama the legend will live forever.

No Dead Osama Bounce

The dollar should have soared today but just managed a slight gain. Almost continuous decline since last May as it looks like 2007-8 pre-Depression. WTI ended down a buck after flirting with $115 but regular was $4.28 on the way home this evening. It looks like america won't get a dead Osama bounce.

The face of Al Qaeda is dead. A good thing. Many thanks to the soldiers and spooks who put bullets in his face. Americans won't be any safer after the demise of the sheik and some think there could be attacks because of it. It doesn't matter, revenge was necessary.

Osama bin Laden accomplished many of his goals. The US is damn near bankrupt, the people are divided and the US is hated in much of the world. His story of America as the Great Satan has become mythology and generations of mujaheddin will fight and die under his banner. A great crime against his people. Generations of Americans will die with them.

Pakistan has shown itself to be an evil nation. They talk friendship and take US money while giving sanctuary to a mass murderer of civilian Americans. Both Afghanistan and Pakistan should be abandoned by US troops, quarantined and subjected to space based kinetic bombardment when they act up.

It is unfortunate that the world will never know the whole story about 911. I can't believe that Al Qaeda acted alone. There is more to the story than 19 hijackers getting lucky one day and killing 3000 people. At the very least, Al Qaeda had help with this mission. The sheik might have been able to shed light on events had he been taken alive.

The markets and dollar were supposed to rise and oil price decline on American vengeance. All were flat, indicating the death of the sheik was an emotional non-event for most of the world. The US brand name is utterly destroyed at this stage of the game. Maybe it's the room full of clowns below.

I'm uninspired. Maybe I should thank these leadership elites. But no. I'll thank the thousands of peasant soldiers who have toiled, bled and faithfully served to kill those who would kill us. They are the heroes.

Comforting Truth

Once upon a time a woman lived in a village that was attacked. She had never seen such a thing, her village being a peaceful place, so she went about trying to understand why. She asked many people but couldn't get an answer that made sense to her.

She searched far and wide, eventually finding a druid who told her that her village was attacked because the people of the village were blemished. The woman was horrified that the druid could be so mean to say such an awful thing. She walked off, vowing to never return to listen to the druid again.

But as time wore on the woman began to think, and observe, and think some more. The druid made some sense but he was just so mean. She really didn't want to believe that what the wicked druid said was true. She was troubled. Thereafter, from time to time, the woman would go near the druid's mound and watch. She never spoke or listened to him, she just looked upon him.

The truth is often bad, we don't really want to know it, but we want to be near it as it comforts.

Elites Will Determine Your Future

Victor Davis Hanson has written an interesting blog this week titled Ok, Let's Decline in which he largely blames Obama for the rot in this country. Obama deserves plenty of blame as the nominal leader, but only as the leader. He didn't elect hisself, he had an american electorate that put him in office.

Hanson seems to believe that ordinary americans get to decide if the country will decline, as if every american has a voice in the decision. I'm going to have to disagree with the professor. You see, an ordinary american's vote isn't worth anything in the modern republic.

Only about 40% of americans even bother to vote. They are mostly polarized into two parties that are herded by the MSM media like hogs to their favorite feed trough. The global elite controlled media herd the hogs by manipulating the message until their candidates are the only ones on the ballot. Whoever gets elected takes instructions from global elite lobbyists no matter what ordinary americans want. The whole system is rigged from the beginning.

Obama and 535 members of Congress are sock puppets for the global elites, bought and paid for before they even get on the ballot. Blaming them is ridiculous, like blaming a puppet for it's actions. If you want change then you have to remove the elite's ability to put candidates on ballots, i.e. control campaign funding and lobbying. Better yet, hang the elites if they try to buy votes.

The decision to decline wasn't made by ordinary americans. Folks want their kids to have opportunities in life. Decline won't help any ordinary folk's kids opportunities. So no ordinary americans would choose decline. That's absurd.

But the global elites see fortunes to be made and power to be gleaned if those pesky, ordinary americans can be put in their place. Which is Mexican, Chinese or Kenyan peasant poor and powerless. Oh, they'll keep a small, terrified managerial class around to run things. But they'll stay in their place knowing they can be tossed in the peasant class, or worse, if they act up. Decline is great if you're a global elite.

The global elites want decline for ordinary americans so they can live the vida loca. Ordinary americans don't have a say in the matter. Just sit your fat ass in front of the TV and watch Dancing with the Stars. The elites will determine your future.

Beltaine 2011 Gasoline Prices

 WTI oil prices are flirting with $114 as we start the new week. Local gasoline prices are locked around $4.14 this Beltaine. A year ago prices were about $2.95, which means the North Mexican peso has lost 29% of it's value.

In April 2010 I spent $322 for gasoline for my commute, this April I spent $401. That's a 20% increase for the month. That's $80 that I don't have to spend on something else in my zero sum economy.
