I suspect that the US economy will be in the midst of a slow motion train wreck by election day no matter who wins. And it will get worse as the fiscal cliff approaches then global recession kicks in. Romney and Ryan are promising 12 million new jobs. Good luck. That will take time and all the luck they can muster.

In any event, my time is running out. I won't survive this time around. All of us 60 something guys know that we'll never work again. Whether we're ready to retire or not, we'll get set out with the trash this time around.
But maybe the kids will at least have a chance at a future.

Indiana National Rape Leader

A stunning 17 percent of Indiana teen girls are sexually assaulted or raped while growing up. Indiana leads the nation in this sad statistic. I wonder what this means. Is data collection better in the state or are the young men just domineering assholes? I'd guess these are poor, urban teen girls that aren't very smart anyway who get into dangerous relationships, in dangerous places, and are raped by dangerous young men. I'd also suspect that often these are white trash getting force bred by black "youths".

We live in a sick world that preys on the weakest members of society. Even prince Harry has his royal hen parties where young sluts strip naked and rub genitals with his royal lowness, getting photos to show off their prowess. I'd be afraid to have sex with a teen these days even if I wanted to. Half the teens have had sex and blow jobs are like saying "hi". Cooties run amok.

Hurricane Issac:There will be Suffering

Issac could rival Katrina this week. One model predicts landfall in Florida, the other model predicts Mississippi and Louisiana. Brendan Loy is worried that nobody is talking about a Louisiana landfall.

Oil prices are going to go through the roof as rigs are evacuated, pipelines are wrecked and rigs are damaged. Gas prices will soar.

I would have evacuated today if I lived on the Gulf, especially if I lived in New Orleans.

Internet Tax is Coming in 2013

The FCC aims to tax broadband internet access through the Connect America Fund. Like the FCC phone access fees, the government wants to "provide fairness". Now internet "fairness" is funded by fees on phones. By taxing internet access the government can shovel money to internet access providers and phone providers. You can bet that phone access fess will remain the same.

This is crony capitalism and socialism at it's worst. Companies want these government mandated fees and love the idea of claiming it is the law that demands these fees, not the beloved company. It's a racket. "Numerous companies, including AT&T, Sprint and even Google have expressed support for the idea." Well of course they have. It's income.

Julius Genachowski, the FCC's chairman, has made expanding broadband access his top priority. It's only a couple of dollars a month. But when american incomes are declining, those couple of dollars are a big deal. How about those companies deploy services that can pay for themselves and the market can bear without taxes? In other words, capitalism, instead of corporate welfare?

The Visitor

DOJ was sniffing around last night, selecting to Google colonel kevin "redcoat" benson about 3AM. The Bruig got a page visit of 0 seconds, which means it showed up as a hit without a visit. What was DOJ looking for? What was the "redcoat" all about? Was this an official search or just some guy jacking around? Does this search enhance the idea of the government believing in the possibility of civil unrest or ... what?

I believe that our civilization is as sick as it has ever been. Anything is possible in this environment. Almost everyone is for sale, for money, power, celebrity or just a high. I only trust my immediate family. Everyone else is suspect and with half of the population insane, any level of trust is impossible. Who is the visitor?

Gotham City Pricks

No heroes here. From shooter to executed VP to reckless cops to Mayor Bloomberg. Pricks in the cesspool that is Gotham City. And yeah the tubby female cop in the background appears to have cuffed the corpse. Yeah asshole Bloomberg, the cops showed up after the VP was dead, shot up the perp and a bunch of bystanders then sorted and tagged the dead and wounded. Johnson clearly committed suicide by cop.

Everybody got what they deserved in gun free Gotham City. NYC got a headline. Spectators got their spectacle. Bloomberg got the spotlight to jabber about gun control. The shot up bystanders will get their lawsuit checks. Tubby cops will get their donuts. The VP got five bullets in his head. Johnson got his suicide.

Dr Doom...and More

Dr. Doom AKA Mark Faber says that there's a 100% chance of global recession. The EU is already in recession, the US economy is decelerating and QE won't help. Dr Doom says the recession will rear it's ugly head over the next 6-12 months. In the meantime, gasoline prices are up 9% YOY and corn/wheat prices are expected to rise 50% over the next year. There will be suffering.

An article in the NYT says americans 55-64 suffered the most in the financial crisis as household income declined 10%. Huh? My household income declined 37%. Add two more mouths to feed and I'm maxed out.

Then?

Romney's choice of Ryan may give his campaign a chance at winning the election. Just a chance, nothing more. But I can't imagine Obama and his minions not engaging in unprecedented election fraud. Most of the electorate is either evil or asleep. The evil runs deep in post-civilized america.

The business unit at my work will be lucky to make it into the new year. No research and development, no customers, no sales and no leadership equals no hope of survival. Pretend and extend. It's a thing of wonder. I've never seen anything like it in my 44 year career. Romney and Ryan would put it out of it's misery. I'd be out of a job but it would be the right thing to do.

I want to retire. The work world is empty for me now. I want to sit quietly in my yard, listen to birds, watch squirrels play, dogs sniff and let the day drift into night as my grandson becomes a teen then a man. Amuse myself with meaningless tiny projects until I can't go on anymore.

It's interesting. By the end of this century, when my grandchildren are dead, any memory of me will dead as well. I will cease to exist as anything but an anonymous human ancestor. Then?

DHS Immigration and Customs Enforcement chief of staff Suzanne Barr is alleged to have some odd instructions for her employees. She is alleged to have "called [a] male employee in his hotel room and screaming at him that she wanted "his cock in the back of [her] throat." A very strange request for any boss to make.

Russia Jumps In

Russia plans to spend $723B on 1600 aircraft, including 600 airplanes and 1000 helicopters by 2020.

Russia, like China, is interested in re-establishing itself as a dominant global superpower. This is occurring as the the US reduces defense spending to pre-911 levels and draws down forces significantly. And NATO becomes irrelevant.

So the world becomes more interesting as more powerful threats emerge from the shadows.

A lazy afternoon in Kansas City, the 93 year old man naps while his 84 year old wife runs errands. An evil rat crawls in a basement window, finds his way upstairs where he beats the elderly man then binds him with belts as he ransacks the home for valuables. The Redcoats Are Coming?

The US military is planning to fight the Tea Party on US soil in 2016. What does it mean? And why the Tea Party and it's imaginary militias? What about La Raza, the Black Panthers and other groups that have already called for armed revolution?

Retired Colonel Kevin Benson PhD is a serious person and a principle planner on the invasion of Iraq.  When a guy like Benson writes a policy paper of this nature, one needs to take this seriously. Irons in the Fire provides excellent background detail.

Benson may be a genius but the inner idiot stands out. Firstly, choosing the Tea Party as the rebellious entity example is ridiculous. After all, they are one of the only groups that actually stand for and support the Constitution opposed to tyranny's large and small that are gobbling up the Constitution on a daily basis. A really bad example Kevin.

Secondly, as Irons points out, does the military expect soldiers to obey orders to kill Americans? Which direction will military weapons be pointed once "full spectrum operations" begin? If big corporations like AECOM Technology think that they are the patriots in this fight, they may find that they are the Redcoats. Exactly who wants to be a Redcoat in American Society. Especially in a perpetual Depression in the US.

Lastly, this society is deeply divided at every level across the entire country. People have learned the Obama/ Alinsky "never let a crisis go to waste" paradigm. Does Benson actually believe that Darlington would be an isolated event that would support the Federal view at all levels? How would states respond? Who might muster out elsewhere? Once full spectrum operations begin, fourth generation warfare activities are a certainty.

This paper was a dumb idea that opened a dangerous Pandora's Box in Obama's kill list America. It advances the idea of conspiracy theories and feels like we're being boxed into a corner with no way out. There are 314 million Americans. Do a few million Federal authorities really think they stand a chance against a just and popular uprising? Are Assad's troops gonna shell Aleppo? How did that work for Gaddafi?

A Bleak Future Ahead

110 million americans are on federal welfare subsidies. That's 35% of all americans. Only 13% of americans are over 65 years old and 24% are under 18 years old. So either all children are on welfare or about half of kids and 12% of adults 18-64 are on welfare. Half of immigrants are on welfare. This country is in ruin now, borrowing $1.3T per year to keep the gravy train rolling. What happens when 77 million boomers get old and the percentage of elderly doubles? Does the US borrow $2.6T per year?

Half of americans die with less than $10,000 in assets. What will happen when pensions are history, most people are working part time jobs and are spending a quarter of their income on Obamacare? Will 99% of americans die with no assets? The future looks bleak.

Geithner Through Feldman Lied and Broke the Law

Here's the lying prick that turned over Delphi salaried pensions to PBGC despite federal law that requires PBGC to make a determination that it is necessary. Matt Feldman screwed 20,000 Delphi salaried retirees in emails documenting illegal activities that go straight up the ladder to Geithner and Obama.

You see, the salaried workers were not a favored Obama constituency, as they weren't UAW workers. So Obama and Geithner just tossed them under the bus costing them 30-70% of their pensions and all of their benefits. Many of them were laid off and lost their jobs as well.

It was illegal for Tim Geithner to make the decision to de-fraud Delphi salaried workers out of their pensions. Geithner, Feldman and Obama all ought to go to prison over these crimes.

Soul Searching

Obama says america needs soul searching on gun violence. Bullshit. Millions of americans have owned guns for generations and never used them in violence, unless others used them in criminal violence first. The problem lies with dirtbag criminals and nutcases. And being mostly soul-less there won't be any soul searching there.

Obama and fellow travelers want to ban assault weapons. The elite community organizer crowd thinks that banning "menacing looking weapons" with high capacity magazines will solve gun violence. Nope. Lee Harvey Oswald put a lot of bullets on target with a with a Carcano bolt action rifle.

The problem lies with criminals and the insane. Neither are dealt with in modern america as we won't lock them up or execute them when guilty.

I don't need to perform any soul searching regarding gun violence. I'm a moral, God fearing man. In order to search your soul, first you need one. And that's the problem in most of the gun violence. Obama should know this. It's telling that he doesn't.

Dear Ben,

I know that you want to know if I'm happy. After all, "gauging happiness can be as important for measuring economic progress as determining whether inflation is low or unemployment high. Economics isn't just about money and material benefits. It is also about understanding and promoting the enhancement of well-being."

How secure do Americans feel in their jobs? Not secure at all Ben. In fact, I think my job will be lucky to last until 2013.

How confident are Americans in their future job prospects? Not confident at all Ben. Being 61 years old, nobody but my present employer would ever hire me for anywhere near what I'm worth. I'm planning on unemployment and disability if I can't work until 66 at my current employer.

How prepared are families for financial shocks? Not well Ben. I don't make enough to save since I lost my job in 2008 so what I have saved is all I'll ever have. Shocking me would be mean and I'm not far from poverty anyway since I'm only making 2/3 of what I made before.

Ben, I know that your definition of happiness is a "short-term state of awareness that depends on a person's perceptions of one's immediate reality, as well as on immediate external circumstances and outcomes." I'd just like to be able to buy some new Fruit of the Loom briefs and be able to go somewhere on vacation once more in my life.

DOT tells americans to go to hell

The federal government pushed Midwest gasoline prices 10% over the national average with an "unusual demand" to submit a plan to prevent future spills. The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration called on Enbridge to "submit a detailed restart plan and undergo a third-party audit." Meanwhile Midwest gasoline customers pay almost $4.00 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline.

Basically the government told Midwest gasoline users to go to hell as they shutdown a oil supply line that supplies 318,000 barrels per day to 35 million americans. Enbridge had the line repaired July 31 but the US government won't allow pipeline 14 to restart until they approve their plan. So Midwest gasoline users pay an additional 40 cents per gallon.

DOT Secretary Ray LaHood should be ashamed of himself for allowing americans to be raped by oil companies over this regulatory bullshit. He is torturing americans not Enbridge over this regulatory issue. The oil companies just got a license to rape americans at the pump.

Flirting with Disaster

Exports are in collapse. The global consumer is in big trouble and soon the US consumer will be as well. When 3 sigma control is lost the process is out of control. And...as global crops fail, societies will fail. Which will fail first? Developed civilizations or the 3rd world? My guess is that Rome will fail first.

Bernanke and Obama have thrown everything but the kitchen sink at the "Lehman event". Once the sink is gone then what? U6 is 22.6%. One in five americans are sitting at home, broke and  stewing in their juices. Very bad!
