Mohamed ElBaradei says the "US is losing credibility by the day". Well, fuck you, global elite stooge, who actualized Saddam Hussien and nuclear Iran as a bought and paid for agent of global elites. And the US government has no credibility anyway, hasn't for years. So WTF?

Egypt in chaos! Muslim Brotherhood prisoners were broken out of prisons, looting, mummies burned, robbery, murder, gangs with machetes wandered the streets. Tanks, jets, soldiers on the street, police return to the street after a two day absence.
Is this the future of the world?

Yeah. Blame the US. It's what Arabs and Muslims do. And dance when americans are killed by Muslims. Democracy? It requires a culture of knowledge and recognition of human rights. Something that the people who embrace Islam do not possess. It would be democracy for donkeys. And that would not work.

Obama will go down in history and the president who lost Turkey, Lebanon and Egypt. More importantly, his election by the american people signals the fall of america as a great power. We are now post-WW2 England sliding into irrelevance of both current events and history.

It ain't lack of education

Pundits claim that the recent riots in Tunisa and Egypt are because of the lack of jobs. There probably is some truth in the claim. Young people need to have hope that they can find work, get married and create a life worth living. Few places in the world can even begin to satisfy that hope in the 21st century. That hope is even fading in the US!

Many policy experts, even Obama in his SOTU address, claim that ""Many people have degrees but they do not have the skill set" to compete in the global economy. Everyone cites lack of education as the reason for unemployment. Yet the world's educational system graduates more people every year.

How can all these graduates have the wrong skill sets? Is it the fault of the teachers and students? Lack of funding? Or is it the lack of leadership to define and setup an educational system that meets the needs of the global economy? Or maybe even the global economic leaders that won't define their needs?

My three daughters either have university degrees or are still in university. The two with degrees are working at Walmart and Best Buy at nearly minimum wage. They can't find a living wage position even with bachelor degrees. Why? Are they failures or is the economy a failure? If the economy is a failure, is this a leadership failure?

I believe that the pricks meeting at Davos, our global leadership, want all the power and all the wealth and are willing to impoverish the other 99 percent of the global population to get their way. They are suceeding! Lack of skills and education is just a misdirection to give them cover. Blame the people for their unemployment.

Former IMF chief economist says the US faces the same risks as Egypt as the rich get richer and the young lose hope of any future. He is correct. Our global leadership is creating a violent future, perhaps even a Mad Max world as they pursue their feudal global economy.

It ain't lack of education, it's the lack of leadership OR evil goals of leadership.

return to quiet meaninglessness

The market got creamed yesterday, experts say it was on account of the riots in Egypt. There was speculation that oil prices could rise to near $100/bbl on fear the Suez could be closed because of the "trouble". Others claimed it was the 3.2% 4th quarter US growth number reported, or more joblessness or even traders taking profits. I dunno. Our portfolio got whacked pretty good.

Hezbollah is running Lebannon and, if Mubarak falls in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood will be running Egypt. Not good for anyone. Just more violence and poverty for everyone since Muslims are incapable of generating human freedom or wealth.

Religion is just codified culture. What does Islam tell you about the culture of those who embrace it? Slavery, mistreatment of women, no rights, violence used to resolve every dispute, continual warfare, racism, I could go on and on. The people whose culture embraces Islam are genetic failures, barbaric savages who never evolved from hunter-gatherer man. Ideally they would kill each other off in their riots and leave Egypt devoid of man.

What has Egypt contributed to mankind in the last 2000 years? Mohammed Atta? Anything? No, it is just a place where history once took place. It is a museum inhabited by a dead people who embrace a culture of death. The existence of Egyptians only makes me poorer, past, present and future.

My message to Egyptians is finish your violence and return to quiet meaninglessness.

After the Meeting

I attended the company press conference that featured a speech by the vice president. Basically I was in federal custody for several hours. We were herded into a confined space with no chairs, restrooms, food or water for almost four hours. The event occurred during lunch time, so everyone missed lunch. Several diabetics suffered low blood sugar events, requiring rescue by paramedics.

The Secret Service do not care about anyone but the politician that they guard. We were all considered enemies and potential assassins. I talked at length with individuals who were privy to security details and was shocked at how meaningless american civilians were in security deliberations. I'm no longer going to care about secret service agents who routinely run over americans as they do their job.

Biden spoke on innovation and optimism. Nothing new or interesting. He called the company by the wrong name multiple times, beclowning himself as usual. I didn't bother to go forward to shake the clown's hand. I wouldn't give him that much respect.

The event was pointless, boring and exhausting for many of us. We were cutouts in the company and political propaganda event. I will never participate again. I advised my boss that I would call in sick if this kind of event is staged in the future. I don't want to be involved in any way.

Meetings

One month of postings on a single page! I've done well with my goals on reading and posting, a huge reduction and a much better state of mind. Even with a chronic, eventually fatal condition that is getting worse, I feel better without the weight of the world's news on my shoulders.
No one is reading my postings. Well, except for the Obama Gun Ban posting from last year. I've already intellectually disappeared from the world. Except for family and a few coworkers, I won't be missed when God calls me.
Tomorrow my company is hosting the vice president. They say he wants to meet each of us and shake our hands. Joe will be the second of my life, Dan Quayle being the first. I had a private meeting with Dan in 1982. I'll be professional. It's my way.
I treasure every moment with my grandsons, especially my oldest. He'll take my memory into the future. 

Just Me and God

Thirty years ago I despised both democrats and republicans. I wrote letters to them concerning policies and even met with a US senator and state Lt. governor who read my opinion into the Congresssional record. But my views were ignored while the powerful got their way.

After 911 I thought that the Bush administration might actually look after the views of the common american. I was wrong. Despite his initial talk, he and his party only looked after the global elites. Bush used common americans to enrich and empower the global elites. Obama the same.

Now I'm back to where I was 30 years ago. I despise both democrats and republicans, knowing they will not support the views of the common man, only the powerful elites that run our world. Letters to elected officials are ignored and all legislation only benefits the global elites. The Constitution is co-opted daily and is generally irrelevant.

The truth is that we live in a lawless, corrupt global empire ruled not by any nation of citizens but by a small global elite that act like Caesars. All one can do is jockey for position in the Leviathan and hope for luck to carry them through without offending God.

In my last years before I go to God, I am a member of nothing but my family. I am not a valued employee, a citizen of a city, state or country nor a party member. I am but me doing what is right by God and to my family. I will perform my basic duties at work and in the communities I live in but I will not be mustered under a flag or behind a leader in the lawless, corrupt world in which I live. I will only muster for God and family, which are lawful and decent. On occasion I will support friends, neighbors and coworkers, but only when their cause is lawful and decent under God.

In the end, there is just me and God, with my family standing nearby.

The Role of Our Political Elites

On the eve of Chinese President Hu visit to the US, the Peoples' Daily printed an article that asked "If China becomes the world's dominant power". Provocative stuff before a visit. But probably reasonable. China has the world's largest population at 1.33B people, so China should have a dominant economy and global role.

Of course that doesn't mean that the Chinese people will generally benefit from world domination, like the american people did during the period of US global domination. The Chinese people have no rights and few benefit from recent Chinese economic improvements. The Chinese people are basically slaves to their leadership elites who run the government and their economy.

Various american leaders admire the Chinese and participate in the Chinese miracle. Jeffrey Immelt, GE CEO, is is staunch Obama supporter and a big participant in China. He has reduced american jobs at GE this decade and built a huge GE presence in China. Perhaps he finds doing business in China is more profitable than doing it in the US. Perhaps because of the slave status of the Chinese people.

The US economy created 15 million fewer jobs in 2000-2010 than forecast and in any other historical period. No one knows why. Ten percent of the workforce never materialized in this decade. Is this because of the depression or is this the cause of the depression? No one can say. Could this be because our business elites moved 5 percent of our work overseas while simultaeneously implementing technology to reduce employment by an additional 5 percent?

There was a time when american business leaders saw themselves as americans and looked after american jobs. Global multinational corporations do not see themselves as american entities, instead just looking for profit anywhere. No matter the job losees in any given country.

Our new global elites see themselves as global citizens who can amass unbelievable wealth and power from their work. If successful, they can destroy the God-given rights of the common man and live like Caesars while most of the people of the earth live like Roman slaves. The american people must be destroyed for their plan to work. That is the role of our political elites today.

James Hansen Gotta Go

Why is James Hansen working for NASA, drawing a salary paid for by US taxpayers? Last fall in China he said

"I have the impression that Chinese leadership takes a long view, perhaps because of the long history of their culture, in contrast to the West with its short election cycles. At the same time, China has the capacity to implement policy decisions rapidly. The leaders seem to seek the best technical information and do not brand as a hoax that which is inconvenient."

Hansen wants a climate change tax implemented in the US even if it wrecks the US economy.  And he prefers that the US have a totalitarian leadership that forces policy on americans. This creep has got to go. Fire him today.

On News

I'm only reviewing news headlines and reading a few stories every day. I don't believe most of the news and see the same lies as I did last year. The few bloggers that I read seem to be having the same problem, they read the lies and try to comment but they're just responding to the same lies, over and over.

Like me, more and more people are just turning away from the political and media lies that are being spread like propaganda. Everything is lies and failure. The truth of it is clear everywhere, everyday. So, like me, people are just focusing on their tiny lives, making the best of every day.

Freak Show

The national freak show surrounding the shooting of Congresswoman Giffords and participants at her appearance show how sick the public personnae of america has truly become. A sick young man kills six people, including a child, and our elites use the opportunity to attack one another for personal power and gain. This behavior is as sick as the shooting itself.

Of course, politicians worry about their safety and many seek to restrict speech and weapons for the common man to protect themselves. But they don't consider that their own speech and weapons of legislation might be a problem. They covet more power instead.

Politicians and media pundits call for public civility, even as they issue vile accusations and calls for violence against other politicians and pundits. Most americans are disgusted by the entire freak show and turn away from the shameful behavior.

So much of america has turned away from God that it is not surprising that we suffer so many problems. Is it any wonder that we have sick young men shooting elites when we have elites grinding our economy into a feudal society while destroying God given Constitutional freedoms?

The pendulum is still swinging to the dark side for america. More horrors will come until america submits to God.

WESTERN DIGITAL WD3200AAJS Fails in 23 Months

As an ultimate technical nerd I've built the bruig's desktop computers for years. I can build a good desktop for around $300 that will last for a good seven years before it needs to be replaced to meet current computing requirements. I maintain three desktops and a laptop on the bruig network to keep my family happy.

Last week the oldest bruig desktop starting locking up. The system complained about overclocking failures so I suspected that the CPU was getting old and it was time to replace the seven year old CPU and motherboard. As usual I ordered an ASUS motherboard, an INTEL CPU, some DDR2 memory and an ANTEC power supply. I intended to re-use the chassis, drives, keyboard and mouse as they were all working.

Everything arrived Thursday evening and within a couple of hours the system was put together. MICROSOFT complained about reactivating the software so I had to re-install Windows XP. Everything went fine until I tried to re-install HP printer software. It would hang up early in the install.

It became apparent that the WESTERN DIGITAL WD3200AAJS hard drive had a problem. I just replaced the drive in February 2009 so I initially thought I had a cable problem. After swapping cables, it was clear that the drive was failing. I was shocked and disappointed.

I've always had good luck with WESTERN DIGITAL drives. They never failed, just became obsolete as bigger drives became necessary and available. To have a drive fail after 23 months was unbelievable! I didn't lose any data since I back up important files on multiple drives but I'm wondering if these Chinese made drives meet quality requirements.

I hope that all the items manufactured in China aren't junk but I fear they may be.

2011

I've been a news junkie for the past nine years and a history student for decades. The attack on 911 and US response seemed like a world changing event that offered the possibility of a better world. It didn't. Instead we live in a world that grows more violent daily as individual possibilities decline.

The US government and global media have become propaganda organizations that can neither be trusted or have people's best interests in mind. Analysis of lies is pointless. So I began wondering why I was even commenting on the news of the day.

I'm reducing my news consumption and postings significantly in 2011 to improve my quality of life. So far it's improved my life considerably. I still know just how bad it is for most americans but I just don't dwell on it. I don't expect anything in the world to improve and unless things get much worse I'll just ignore most of what happens. It can't be changed.

Good luck to those of you who have come to the bruig to read my musings. Try to find some personal truths and meaning to your life. The world has nothing but pain, suffering and lies. Your personal life holds all truth and meaning.
