Samhuin

Samhuin is upon us....time stands still and the gates to the Otherworld stand agape. The sun slips into it's long sleep and the world follows. Trees drop their leaves, the herds and flocks are brought in from distant pastures and the last of nature's bounty is harvested. Tis a time for culling that which should be kept and that which won't survive the long night. Cull, slaughter and feast before sleep. Set a place for those who have gone to the Otherworld for tonight they are just Close By. Ask for their help and prophecy.

Every three years a great Feis was held at Tara on Samhuin. Great feasts and games were held for three nights before and three nights after the timeless Samhuin. Those who would be Ard Ri, high King of the Land, would stand upon the Lia Fail stone and anticipate the Roar of the stone that would proclaim them an unblemished descendent of Niall of the Nine Hostages, thus worthy of rule. A vote by the clans and ritual mating with the Land would sanctify their kingship for the following three years. Obediance was sworn, the Laws were read, disputes settled and taxes levied. The Druids invoked Peace from the quarters and the Feis ended. All was Good in the Land.

Tonight, light a fire at sunset in a quiet grove, feast, set a place for those who have gone on, ask for their help and contemplate past and future. Settle disputes and invoke peace in your life. Tis Yearend and tonight there is no time....

Tantrum Politics

Many in this generation embrace Tantrum Politics and it is ripping society to pieces. These spoiled, irresponsible punks believe they have a right to whatever they want and absolutely refuse to consider any compromise. We see this behavior in the home, the workplace and in public. Divorce, lousy work ethics and coarse behavior are just a few manifestations of how low American ethics have truly become. Much of America is a Jerry Springer show.

The past four years and this election are a mirror of American society and it will get worse. How can a leader lead when many citizens refuse to be responsible or compromise? How can we debate issues when we revile the speaker? Admitting any mistake is like handing your attacker a bigger club to bludgeon you senseless.

American society is breaking apart and lawyers aren't helping. In too many cases, the crime is no longer the issue; the case is decided by the skin color of the defendent or the behavior of the victim. Right and wrong, good and evil or the requirements of civil society are irrelevant. Elections are now fair game for selfish, spoiled punks who believe they have a right to everything. Scream loud enough and mommy and daddy will let you have your way.

Half of America is unruleable...and it will get worse unless the adults start taking the punks to the woodshed.

The Mahdi Lives

The Madhi is alive. Usama al Mohammed bin Laden has emerged from the hinterlands after an eight month absence. He looks good, nice complexion, well-trimmed beard and steady hands.

The wily freedom fighter compared "Bush to corrupt Arab governments". Usama believes he is freeing people from corrupt regimes by blowing them to bits.

Usama said he had to act after the Israelis "invaded Lebannon in 1982". Apparently geography isn't taught in Saudi madrassas. Usama seems to think that America is a province of Israel. But why let geography get in the way when you want to murder five billion infidels. Meat grinders don't care what is fed into their machinations.

Usama showed compassion when he said "the 911 attacks wouldn't have been as devastating if Bush had been more alert". I guess the Mahdi thinks that the President sits in front of a radar screen dutifully monitoring the nation's air traffic control system or works part time as a passenger screener at airports.

The October surprise has come. I wonder which candidate benefits from the Mahdi's reappearance. I don't know.....but Kerry statements resemble Usama's more than Bush's.

The Other Axis of Evil

We all know about the Axis of Evil but there is another axis of evil that is just as dangerous and it is the Media-UN-Democrats. One would think that all civilized people in the world would work together to rid the world of the scourge of terrorism. But the other axis of evil would rather pursue a partisan political agenda.

No one doubted that Saddam had a dangerous WMD program prior to OIF. The UN had tried to inspect and verify WMD for 12 years with little success. UNSCOM and the IAEA found 377 tons of high explosive, sealed the bunker and walked away. Apparently it was of little concern until six days before the US elections then the IAEA's El Baradei issued this statement for media consumption.

The Media did their duty to the Democratic Party and went with the story without bothering to investigate the facts. The media has thrown objectivity out the window and has mostly become the propaganda organ of the Kerry campaign. Any news that might hurt Bush is good news for the MSM. Why investigate the veracity of the story?

Kerry has made this story his principle talking point of the campaign to hurt the President. But it wasn't the President who inspected or guarded Al Qaqq. It was our troops that Kerry condemned as "incompetent". Once again Kerry was demeaning America's troops for personal, political gain.

Why does any of this matter? Because the other axis of evil systematically demeans American war aims, troop morale and and America's international reputation for personal, partisan, political gain. President Bush said "you are either with us on this war on terror or against us". The other axis of evil is against us. The Media-UN-Democrat axis is a propaganda machine for terrorists. And that is despicable.

Al Qaida Calls the Election

Nice article today over at Homeland Security about Al Qaida's displeasure that President Bush is being re-elected. Looks like the barbarians in Waziristan have been keeping track of the polls and have called the election already. Assam the American has promised that 'blood will run in the streets' and there will be so many casualties that they 'can't be counted'.

Meanwhile Hanoi John is blasting the president for finding WMD and then failing to secure it. Hey, I thought Kerry has been bitching because there were no WMD. It seems that the IAEA had discovered high explosives suitable for nuclear triggers and decided to seal the nine bunkers in case Saddam needed to remodel a palace.

Kerry seems to think he can convince the American people that Bush is so incompetent that he ordered the troops to ignore any WMD and Al Qaida has stolen the uber-explosive right from under the troops nose. If Al Qaida had the HMX and RDX don't you think they would have used it to defeat their arch-enemy President Bush? But wait....isn't Kerry calling our troops incompetent? Is that a good campaign strategy?

Kerry's campaign staff is so incompetent that they would be hard pressed to find sand in Iraq. I think Al Qaida has called the election correctly. President Bush wil be re-elected next Tuesday.

Coarsened and Divided Nation

The scorched earth policy of Kerry and the DNC ensure that whomever is elected this November will have to lead a less civil and divided nation.

The Democrat campaign has been based upon boundless hatred rather than issues. The disloyal opposition has attempted to portray the President of the United States variously as a chimp, a Nazi, an oil thief, a stooge for business, a racist, a religious nutcase, a homophobe, a deserter, an alcoholic, a drug addict, a liar and a warmonger. These are not attacks on the President's policies but attacks on the President's person. For Democrats, the only issue seems to be President Bush, and they would hurt anyone to destroy the President.

The Democratic platform is based upon division of the American people. Class warfare is the showcase plank. The Democrats need to blame all of America's problems on the wealthy Republicans whose alleged racism has oppressed blacks, workers, gays and even the crippled. If we just taxed the rich, all of America's problems would disappear. Since President Bush is the big Republican, getting rid of him would rid the nation of the pestilence of the GOP (just like capturing Usama bin Laden would rid the world of al Qaida).

However, class warfare, once unleashed, is difficult to control. The French learned this lesson during the Reign of Terror that sprang from their revolution. As society breaks into smaller and smaller class groups, it devolves into anarchy. Society consumes itself in the process as law and order break down.

Kerry and friends attacks on Bush are in fact attacks on the office he seeks and the Republic itself. The office of President has been diminished in this campaign, as has our nation. Neither will ever be seen quite the same again. What decent person would subject himself, and his family, to the depradations of the mob to hold the tarnished office of a broken nation?

America I weep for thee.
