Unemployment Because of Lack of Skills

US companies blame unemployment on lack of skills? Fucking bullshit. Maybe if you know that companies want an exact goddamned match to every detail submitted on their bullshit web job postings. Then there's their idiot savant HR personnel who can barely read or talk let alone comprehend anything.

There is tons of talent available if applicants aren't instantly, preemptively disqualified online because they don't meet every, single detail of mostly unused skills that companies claim that they need but employees never use.

One of the biggest lies companies use is claiming lack of skills when, what they really mean is that the applicant is too old, meaning over 50. Age discrimination is rampant in this country, even when the government is trying to get people to work longer.

And internal training is a necessity. But companies don't want to do any. They have cut their staff to the bone so anyone moving to a new job can't spend 5 minutes showing a new guy the job. Companies think they can bring in a new guy with "skills" that replace training needs when in fact they place cripples who figure things out eventually by stumbling through the job for a few months.
