I die, cultures die. Spengler has a interesting take on demographics and why people want their culture to survive (and why other cultures commit suicide). I'll take exception to one of his assertions. He believes american culture will survive, even thrive. Sorry. The culture I knew is dead and I won't gain immortality from what goes forward as the replacement culture. In fact, I despise it and would be madder than hell if anyone claimed that I lived on as represented by what passes for culture in modern america.
