Almost dead...

Dead or mortally wounded.

Our lives, our world. Just snapshots taken seconds apart. Some know what's coming but live their lives with passion while most of us just stumble along ignoring the truth. Few of us have our end recorded on film. Which is the best end? The exciting, passionate filmed death or the dreary, boring passing in obscurity?

His sons will never know him, his wife will sling and grind under another man and, in a year, only his parents will remember and mourn him until they too pass. All for his exciting passion and the amusement of  "fans" of the gladiator spectacle in 2011.
