A mid-October AP-GfK Roper poll says that 58% of americans are "furious about politics" and 70% of americans "believe the country is heading in the wrong direction." And what choices do americans get from the Derivative gambling elites who run the country by purchasing politicians? Obama and Romney.
So what are americans doing about their anger? Well, 37% support the few OWS protesters shitting in parks and calling for america to become a Marxist planned economy. Meanwhile the competing Tea Party quietly talks amongst themselves as their candidate, Sarah Palin, quietly withdraws from the race.
So furious americans will choose between Stalinist Obama and Obama-lite Romney next year. Those are the choices that the ruling elites will allow. So America isn't so different from Saudi Arabia after all. The only difference is the american facade of "elections". The american "Allegiance Council" of a few hundred elites will decide who americans get to vote for.
Tyler Durden thinks that the Arab Spring should give elites pause as furious people depose and kill leaders. I'm gonna call bullshit because americans are vested in the system and will endure almost anything rather than risk losing anything. So furious americans are basically just bitchy americans as their lifestyles decline, their sons become jobless derelicts, their daughters become lumpen sluts and the US degrades into a Third World shithole.
Whose to blame? Not politicians or elites, who are the evil criminals that they are, but ordinary americans whose fear of risk allow this system to stand. If OWS protesters and Tea Party protesters pulled Soros or Immelt out of a limousine and hung them from a lamp post things would eventually get better. Instead, they shit on doorsteps in Manhattan or bitch at the Moose Lodge. Ordinary furious americans just sit on the couch and watch Dancing With The Stars or Monday Night Football (a.k.a the Excuse to Get Drunk) rather than risk losing the 52" LCD TV in the revolution.
The argument is no longer about free markets vs. communism. It's about elite power vs. peasant slavery. A few hundred elites control everything by handing out vesting rights to overseers of the mass of peasants who mostly own nothing, including their "rights and freedoms". The whole system is corrupt to it's smallest component, the individual american.
