Defense Budget Cuts
The Pentagon warned Obama against further defense cuts after he proposed cutting $400B over the next 10 years. That's $40B per year from a $649B defense budget or 6% per year. Why cut so little so late?
What is the US military defending against? Taliban in Afghanistan, Qaddafi in Libya, Iranians in Iran, North Koreans in South Korea? Russians, Cubans, Chinese, Venezuelans? Does anyone believe that any of these people are going to invade the US? How is borrowing $649B per year defending the US?
The US military has not won a war since 1945, not because our military is bad but because the american people don't want to do what it takes to defeat an enemy. This has only gotten worse every year until now the US military cannot defeat cave men in Afghanistan. So why are we paying for a military that can't win anywhere?
Did the US military defend the WTC or Pentagon in 2001? Does the US military defend the border with Mexico from invasion? Who does the US military defend these days? Iraqis? Saudi oil shipments to China? Who? Not me.
The US is beyond the need AND the cost of a $649B per year military that protects foreigners and their stuff. The US has no desire to win any war or even force it's will any longer in the world. Why have aircraft carriers and nuclear submarines when there are no circumstances in which you would use them to kill enemies?
This is the enemy that america is fighting. Six year old white girls must be groped by black TSA thugs. Because of their frequent terror attacks against america? No. Because we won't even dare offend Muslims, let alone kill them by the millions in their warrens. So we employ blacks to grope our white children for "fairness".
So why is the US spending $649B for a military that protects a government that gropes little girls crotches, allows Mexicans to invade the country, won't defeat any enemy and crushes the middle class with unemployment and economic destruction?
Why cut the military budget so little and so late? Withdraw all troops from every foreign country, take the ships out of the sea lanes and let foreigners protect themselves (at their own cost). Pare the military size down to defend US borders and cut the defense budget down to actual US defense. Form should follow function.
This chart says it all. Entitlements and interest are already equal to receipts. Interest will only grow in a economy where receipts only fall. Defense and discretionary spending must end if there is any hope of balancing a budget. And of course, there isn't. Budget cuts? Getthefuckouttahere!
Mexicans will own and run the bankrupt, former US in 39 years. Why defend it?
