Congress Will Raise Debt Ceiling...Indeed

Congress will raise US debt ceiling. Of course they will, they have no choice. How high? It doesn't matter any more. Without economic growth and if interest rates rise above 0.0% the current debt will overwhelm the country. The only way out is dramatic spending cuts, like all entitlements. Does anyone think THAT is going to happen? All social security checks, Medicare payments, Medicaid payments and unemployment checks are stopped...forever. What would that look like in 2011 America? There would be homeless, starving and dead old people, disabled people and children within weeks. Would americans be Ok with THAT?

Nope. The US will be on the hook for about $75T when the Mexicans take over North Mexico in 2050.
