Are americans Stoopid?

The AP is shilling for the Obama regime today, claiming that "only an oil shock can stop the economy now". The MSM is effectively part of the dictator's re-coronation team with claims that the economy will grow 3.2 to 3.5%, unemployment will fall to 8.4% and wages will grow above the annual 2.8% inflation rate. AP says that people feel wealthier, thus are spending more and that US manufacturing is up.

AP claims that gas prices nationally are $3.87/gallon and will fall to $3.50/gallon by this fall. Really? Yesterday when I drove home, local prices were $3.90/gallon and this morning were $4.19/gallon! WTF? That's 29 cents overnight! A Michigan TV station was shocked to find gasoline rose 6 cents overnight.

What hurricane, global unrest or other event caused gasoline to rise 7% overnight in my region? I got nothing. Do you? If the decline of the dollar or political upheaval is the problem, why wouldn't prices rise everywhere consistently? Something else is going on. And it is an oil shock.

Is Obama's AP covering up the truth about the economy? Seems that way. I don't know anyone that feels good about the economy or is out on shopping sprees. Do you? Case Shiller reports housing starts and sales are back to 2009 lows. Manufacturing activity is declining, not rising. Oil prices are sucking the life out of this country. Does Obama and his asshats think americans are freaking stoopid?
