BLS reported 159,000 people found work in October but unemployment remained steady at 9.6% (if you still believe any data from the government). Labor force participation fell 1.5% to 64.5% in this depression. Apparently 3 million people have just vanished in america. Who knew?

Oil broached $87 per barrel, so expect gasoline prices at or above $2.90 per gallon. We're there already here in the middle of the country. As QE2 printing presses begin spewing worthless greenbacks, expect oil prices to continue to move up.

Opt out of a TSA porno photoshoot, expect to be groped and fondled by a government bureaucrat. Oh yeah, open handed crotch rub and feel up the boobs. Even your baby girl will get pawed by government thugs. All in the name of security. So much for Constitution, Bill of Rights and america. We're all criminals now.

The local newspaper reported that 900 of 3457 city schoolchildren failed to get immunized this year. Free immunizations were offered by the local health department but one in four never showed up. The schools sent flyers home with children but caregivers never responded. Now social workers will go to each child's home to try to make arrangements.
State law requires schools to obtain immunization records and state that a child cannot attend school without immunizations. But the city schools are not suspending students who failed to get immunized, they can't afford the lost revenue. Civilization is collapsing hereabouts.
