French Revolution 2.0

The French may well be on the road to another revolution. Will the French police and military hold against the mob? They haven't held against anyone in two centuries. Sarkozy better have a bolt plan when security folds. Otherwise the mob might haul him out and behead him on des Champs d'Elysees.

This photo is so Gothic; the smoke, the flags, the man on the platform in front of the mob. Is that Robespierre inciting the mob to storm the Bastille? And aren't the French considered the most civilized people on the earth?
