Panetta has played his Desperation Card to stop defense cuts if the Supercommittee can't cut the budget. He will fail. Americans aren't serious people any more. Why? Anyone who lets spoiled young adults run around shitting in parks is not a serious person.

A nation that let's it's manufacturing base move overseas, won't harvest energy and let's it's youth rot away can't afford a reliable military or defense. Serious people will have their way.
