Gonzo has a good story on ordinary americans who are underwater on their house thinking about walking away from the mortgage. Apparently the HAMP program was just a scam by banksters, congress and the tan man as 850,000 were qualified then unqualified within 90 days while Fannie Mae got bonuses. Just another fleece job on american marks.

So, what would happen if americans just stopped paying their mortgages?
