RIP Whiskey

Over at Belmont Club, commenter Whiskey was asked to stop commenting because his views on women and race were deemed to be borderline hate speech. This is a sad development for an otherwise interesting discussion place on the interwebs. This country has become a place where ideas cannot be expressed freely without fear of being cast out, which is one of the reasons why we can't solve any of the deep problems facing us. We are more interested in feelings than thoughts and disproportionately lash out at any deviation from existing memes. The first amendment is effectively dead. Next?
