Close to the Edge

The Dagong credit rating agency lowered america's credit rating from AA to A+ today. “The serious defects in the U.S. economy will lead to long-term recession and fundamentally lower the national solvency,” Dagong said in a report

Food and clothing inflation will soar in the coming year due to global crop failures. Oil prices are on the move upwards as investors seek safety in commodities. Bernanke wants inflation, he's going to get inflation...on food and fuel.

Unemployment is about to run out for 5 million americans who will scramble to take any job they can find, even if it pays little more than their weekly UC benefit. But you can't live an american life on $20,000 a year. And it won't seem like much of a life if you're making a third or half of what you made before the depression.

The future of Boeing, the 787 Dreamliner, had smoke in the cabin and was forced to make an emergency landing during a test flight. Oh, and shuttle Discovery is grounded for yet another problem on it's final flight. Is there a pattern here?

Meanwhile did somebody launch a  missile off the coast of america's second largest city. And no one knows who dun it or what it even is! The military won't comment and speculation is just crazy. Chinese, Iranians, aliens, secret government programs, Obama! Nobody trusts anybody, especially our own government.

Our entire american civilization is close to the egde.
